Buenos Dias!

Our adorable intern Candace hit Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for Spring Break this year. Along with her sunscreen, sunglasses, and a good book she made sure to pack lots of resort and spring Rory Beca pieces. Check out below what Candace did while she was there and what RB pieces she chose to wear.

Sailing:

Learn to sail or charter a boat, either way it’s a great way to spend the day on the Sea of Cortez and see some of Cabo’s most cherished wildlife and landmarks. Spend the day fishing, whale watching, or even diving and end up at the El Arco de Cabo San Lucas (Lands End) to enjoy the view. On Candace’s trip, she was lucky enough to encounter a mother and baby whale- and even jumped in the water to swim with them!

San Jose del Cabo Art Walk:

In the art district of San Jose, every Thursday during the months of November-June there is an evening art walk where visitors can stroll the quiet neighborhoods and peek into local galleries, viewing art and talking to the artists about their work. Light refreshments are served, but dining at one of San Jose’s neighborhood restaurants after the walk is a common choice.

For the art walk, Candace decided to dress in style with the Rory Beca Coral Wrap Jumpsuit. The cut of the jumpsuit struck a perfect balance between dressed-up, vacation wear with a comfortable ease for walking the streets of San Jose.

Festive Dining:

Since Cabo San Lucas is a famous tourist destination, enjoying one of the more popular locations is a must. For a fun, authentic Mexican meal, The Office is located along Cabo’s main Medano Beach and is a great spot for people watching during the day and listening to live music at night. Known for their drink specials and margaritas, The Office will give you that feeling of relaxation needed for any vacation.

Since St. Patricks Day is this Sunday, what’s a better way to celebrate than with a green-inspired recipe and the outdoors? We took this recipe and re-created the famous Shamrock Shake for the holiday!

Okay, so ours could have been a little more vibrantly green but all in fun of St. Patrick, right?

I have a strong passion for baking, especially as it gets a little bit chilly outside. I decided to invite some girlfriends over to sip champagne and bake some of my  favorite Fall recipes. Of course we wanted to bake in style so we all wore our favorite Rory Beca piece.  These are all great recipes for the holidays…Web Bar’s Chocolate Cake, Meyer Lemon TartMama’s Apple CrispSugar-Topped Molasses Spiced Cookies, and Butternut Squash Muffins
